LONDON, NEW YORK, SINGAPORE 15th August 2019.
Planixs, the global provider of real-time treasury software, is pleased to announce it is an official sponsor of this year’s ALM Conference on 7th and 8th October in Warsaw, Poland. The event is the leading Asset Liability Management (ALM) event in Europe, providing banking professionals of high-profile financial institutions with an overview of best practices for asset and liability management in banking.
Now in its fourth year, the two-day ALM Conference attracts senior staff members from banking institutions right across Europe, all looking to gain practical insights and guidance on areas including intraday liquidity, balance sheet management, risk management, stress testing and banking regulatory compliance.
The event will feature guest speaker, Professor Moorad Choudhry – Honorary Professor at University of Kent Business School and the former Chief Executive Officer of Habib Bank AG Zurich and Head of Treasury at RBS Corporate Banking – along with additional key speakers from institutions such as European Central Bank, European Investment Bank, CREDIT SUISSE and Deutsche Bundesbank.
As part of the sponsorship opportunity, Planixs will be exhibiting at the event across the two-days, whilst also delivering a session on intraday liquidity on the first day of the conference. Pete McIntyre, Planixs’ Financial Services Director, will be delving into the regulations around intraday liquidity, and how technology can ensure compliance and help banking organisations improve their liquidity management operations.
Founded in 2011, Planixs works with global financial institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and Zenith Bank, providing its product suite Realiti® - a cloud-based and on-premise technology solution suite that delivers real-time intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management capabilities to the financial services industry. With Realiti®, firms can obtain improved insights and intraday control, whilst complying with global BCBS248 regulatory requirements, including stress modelling (incorporating UK PRA, FED and European Banking Authority regulations).
Tim Page, Head of Worldwide Sales at Planixs, comments: “We are thrilled to be supporting and exhibiting at this year’s ALM Conference. This exciting opportunity will allow us to engage and network with the European banking community and educate them on the role technology can play in intraday liquidity management.”
